My work is a testament if not an homage to the existence of a person, a time, and a place. I draw from observation and imagination rather than photographs, focusing attention on the present moment as a construction of a succession of impressions, both mental and physical. Implied is the manifold nature of history and memory and the questionable stability of our structured world, so vexing that it requires a sense of humor.
